So Glasses Malone's album is finally here. After many problems with so many different labels and push backs he will drop the album via Suburban Noize/Cash Money on August 30rd. The one thing I was surprised about this is that Lupe Fiasco is on it. Braun’s Battle of the Year B-Boy Battle (Aug. 20)

The legendary international dance competition “Battle of The Year” is back for it’s 21st year as the premier B-Boy battle in the world! Coming off one of its most exciting competitions in 2010 with the Korean crew Jinjo taking the crown, this years 2011 competition looks to be a marquee year for the competition with some of the best dance crews involved from all around the world.
As the road continues to the finals in Montpellier, France on November 19th the US will have their BOTY finals on August 20th determining which US crew will represent the states in the finals.
The US BOTY will be happening at the legendary Avalon in Hollywood and will feature DJ sets by DJ’s Lean Rock, Renegade, and Ervin.

“Me and Game just did a banger called ‘Born In The Trap,’” Premier revealed to SOHH. “He was like, ‘Can I get another one?’ I said, ‘What, you didn’t like that one?’ He said, ‘No, no, I want to buy another one!’ I was like, ‘Sh*t yeah.’ [laughs] He said mine is the second song on the album, so, I’m about to do another one for him but the one that we already did, he said it’s going to be the second song. I’m excited about that. I know he’s been leaking out a lot of stuff but he said a lot of the stuff he’s leaking isn’t going to be on the album. I haven’t even heard anything. He knocked that sh*t out with me in one day and I mixed it the same day.”

LA Light By Colin Rich

This video truly captures the "electric radiance" of Los Angeles. It took six months to get the necessary clips to but this video together this was also due to Homeland Security being a pain in the ass. The footage was captured via Canon 5D Mark II and 7D cameras together with Zeiss and Canon lenses, and custom hardware.

Kiwi Police do Banksy-style Recruitment Street Ads

It’s no secret that Banksy’s stencils are single-handedly tying the street art world together like The Dude’s rug did his living room in The Big Lebowski. But it’s one thing for it to be accepted by the mainstream, and something completely different to have law enforcement officials adopt wheatpasting for their own recruitment needs. Leave it to the Kiwi’s to do just that. Auckland based agency M&C Saatchi, and artist Otis Frizzell created these stencils using actual police events that occurred in the areas where the art crossed the thin blue line. Images depicted include Constable Spence Kingi helping people escape from the rubble of the February Christchurch earthquake and Kylie Schaare’s casework in Wellington that led to the conviction of a man who had been abusing his own children.
